Weak Passwords, Online Robbers and How to Secure your Password

Let suppose you just got online and opened your mailbox or Facebook ID, as soon as you clicked “Login” after entering your ID and password, you receives an error message saying “Incorrect Password”, you try it again and again but all in vain.

If you are receiving such error then may be caps lock is turned on or may be you are typing the wrong password. If no, then there are 99% chances that your account is hacked.
How the hackers hack the accounts? What harm you can face after your account is hacked? Let us have a look over it.

Symantec often perform surveys to know the users’ behavior against online security and passwords. Here we are going to show you the results of a survey about passwords.

The Survey says:

Among all internet users, 79% of them choose a very easy password for their accounts such as their personal information and birthdays that are known to many people.
Some of the most common passwords are:

16% user choose their first name as their passwords.

According to the survey, most of the passwords are just consists of 6 or 7 letters that are often a dictionary word. These types of passwords are very easy to hack for password hacking software.

                                             Some great online robberies:

Jonathan James was the first to be sent to prison for hacking. He hacked two great organization’s networks, one of them was a Defense Threat Reduction Agency. The most dangerous action of him was to crack into NASA’s network where he stolen a software worth 1.7 million USD and even he had the control over temperature and humidity within the living space.

Adrian Lamo is second in the list having credit of breaking into New York Times and Microsoft’s computers. He used coffee shops’ and libraries’ internet connections. He also cracked Yahoo!, Bank of America and Citigroup where he found some flaws in their security.

Kevin Mitnick, also known as the most wanted cyber criminal of the US history. He broke into Los Angeles bus punch card system and got a lot of free rides. He also cracked many organization’s computers to steal free software.

                                              How to avoid risky password:

• The password should have more then 8 characters.

• Try to check your password with online free password checkers whether they are hard enough to hack or not.

• Try to use different varieties of characters in your password i-e UPPER CASE LETTERS, lower case letters, numeric(0123456789) and special characters(*&^%!@#$).

• It is also a good practice to replace “o” with “0″(Zero), “E” with “3″ and any other possible combinations.

• Never ever keep a password having dictionary words in it, because it can easily be hacked by cyber criminals as they use some sophisticated tools to try all possible dictionary word.

• Your personal information MUST not be used in your password e-g your name, license, credit card number etc.

Welcome Tiffany and Stephanie Sharp

I started this blog really for me for two reasons i think. 

One because i could and i thought it was cool to be able to share things with the family and i also  enjoy playing with computers.

Two i also though it might bring the family's a little closer together , i guess i was wrong at least  for now there's not that many people posting things right now but on the bright side i can see that there are a lot of you that look at the posts that i do, the blogger keep tract of things like that for a lot of reasons.

Dad with his Removal crew back when men were men as he puts it, and when looking at this Picture i have to agree with him and you would too if you've ever done any tree work. This is one picture just several shots.

I wish i knew what year this was taken in,

I don't know the other men and dad couldn't remember them ether, in this picture you can see they didn't even have a chipper and even have the logs on top of the brush, they used to have a small hoist on a flat bed to lift the logs and back the truck under when the log was up in the air to load it, and remember this was the City of Columbus.

How to write your About Me page

The ‘About Me’ page is one of the hardest for entrepreneurs (or anyone for that matter) to write.  You’re worried about what to say:

Should you include personal anecdotes or stay strictly business?
How long should it be?
If you do include personal details, which ones and how many?

It’s enough to get your head spinning until you throw a few sentences on the screen with the first pieces of information that come to mind just to have some words on the page in the off chance that people actually read it.

An About page is your introduction to potential clients and customers.

Here’s the thing though—that ‘off chance’ is actually a lot closer to a guarantee because About pages are one of the most frequently visited pages on a website.   An ‘About’ page is like your introduction to potential clients and customers.  It’s a ‘hello, my name is…’ that could either give you a repeat visitor/subscriber/client or cause that person to x out of your offerings for good.

So, what should your about page say about you? Think of your ‘About’ page as your introduction at a party—you state your name and follow that with information you think the person you’re meeting might be interested in. On your website, that person is your target market.

Breaking down the About page

Here are 6 elements to include:

1. Who you are—This addresses the basics like your name and business name, but don’t forget to include a little personality. Personality is just as much of who you are as your name, convey it through language and tone.

2. What you do—be very clear here. If you’re a graphic designer, say so. Being clever with your title, (while it can be inspirational and sometimes set you apart), can also be confusing to potential clients and customers. Include both professional and personal details as long as they align with what your market wants/needs to know.

3. Who you do it for—come right out and say who your ideal clients and customers are. For example, I write copy for creative women entrepreneurs who are building businesses based on their talents. Boom! I said it. No visitor has to  wonder ‘hmm, I wonder if she’s for me?’

4. How you can help—here’s the big one. Visitors to your site want to know one thing: how you can make their lives better. What problem do you solve for them? What concern can you alleviate? Let them know.

5. Your message—this is ‘your why’, the overarching reason you started your business in the first place.  Mine is to help women find success in embracing their talents and turning them into businesses despite their circumstances (e.g. too busy being a wife & mom, a 9-5 girl, or both). People like something to believe in—give it to them!

6. Call to Action/Contact Info—every page on your website should have a call to action (CTA) letting the visitor know exactly what they can do next on your site. Many times the CTA(s) are links to blog posts or some other free resource. Be sure to include contact info here too. A visitor might get to the end of your page and want to contact you immediately. Don’t make them search for the info—present it to them right then and there.

Just click on one of the links above and you can read the News Article about Tom Miller being shot to dealt, in case you don't know,, the guy that shot him was related to us, Dannie Hensley is the one they say shot him mutable times killing him.

Hes related though my mother and your Great Grandmothers Nikki, Carolyn, he was the grandson of my grandmothers sister, and another thing was that my grandmother and her sister married Brothers so mom and Dannie's dad were double first cousin.
The only way to be related any closer is to be bother and sisters, just wanted you guy to know.

Its so sad to think of a man that was just trying to protect his own stuff and lost his life over which that was already his, now a Husband, Father and Grandfather is gone, killed.

Astronomy Picture Of the DayExplanation: Today, the Sun crosses the celestial equator heading south at 14:49 Universal Time. An equinox (equal night), this astronomical event marks the first day of autumn in the northern hemisphere and spring in the south. With the Sun on the celestial equator, Earth dwellers will experience nearly 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness. To celebrate, consider this careful record of the Sun's yearly journey through southern Austrian skies. The scene is composed of images made at the same time each day, capturing the Sun's position on dates from September 29, 2011 through September 9, 2012,. The multiple suns trace an intersecting curve known as an anelemma. In fact, the past year's two equinox dates correspond to the middle (not the intersection point) of the curve. The summer and winter solstices are at the top and bottom. Of course, many would also consider it a good idea to travel along the mountain road toward the left, passing the vineyards along the way to reach the nearby town of Kitzeck and toast the equinox with a glass of wine. Near the roadside bench is a windmill-like klapotetz, traditionally used in this wine-growing region to keep the birds away.

Introduction to our new blog

Hello everyone, as you might know my name is Joe Rose and i wanted to start this blog for our family's to have a place to share on thats the site belongs to us.

You can share story's/photos and just anything really that you feel like sharing, now with that said i'm wanting to keep it PG so all of our familys members can look and enjoy the content.

There are several ways to control the site but for now i'm going to keep it private just for us but we can always change it to public if and when we want its not a big deal.

I'm hoping that all of the family's will find this a nice way to stay in-touch and share what going on with there family's.

Well thats all for now i'v got a lot more work to do on the site, one more thing is that i'v got the option of making this blog usable on our mobile phones which i like very much.
